BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — Officials are investigating two crashes on a highway, one of them involving a firefighter and another involving multiple vehicles.
The Denver Channel reported that the first crash, the multi-vehicle crash, closed the highway. There were four cars involved in the crash and two people had to be extricated.
The second crash involved a firefighter going to the first crash. The firefighter was hit head-on about four miles away from the first crash, according to the report.
The firefighter’s air bag deployed and he hurt his his arm, but he has no serious injuries, officials said.
The driver in the other car had to be taken to the hospital. Officials did not have any details on that person’s injuries, according to the report.
