The Escondido apparatus got help from a tow truck

ESCONDIDO, Calif. —An Escondido Fire Department fire engine got stuck in a sinkhole Thursday afternoon while returning from a medical call, CBS8 reported.
No injuries were reported.
A tow truck pulled the apparatus to safety.
