VANDERHOOF, British Columbia — A group of firefighters are shown in a video trying to gain control of their hose after it became stuck in a “firenado.”

ABC13 reported that the video shows firefighters holding onto the hose, which was pulled 100 feet in the air by the 200-foot-tall fiery twister, according to firefighter M.C. Schidlowsky, who shared the video on Instagram.

The firenado formed in the Chutanli wildfire and threw burning logs across the control line for 45 minutes.

Firefighters were eventually able to reclaim their hose, but it was melted in the incident.
