PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Firefighters assisted police officers Wednesday in rescuing a cow that had gotten stuck in a drainage hole.
Local 10 News reported that the St. Lucie County Fire District responded to a police call asking for help with the animal, and five firefighters, two police officers and several 2-foot-by-4-foot wooden planks worked together to lift the cow, which was sideways in the hole.
The cow showed its thanks by charging at the crew.
It is unknown how the cow ended up in the hole in the first place.
