NEW YORK — Four FDNY firefighters were injured while battling an apartment fire in Manhattan Thursday morning.
One of the firefighters sustained serious injuries, reported NBC. Officials said the fire might have spread to the roof of the six-story building.
Three firefighters suffered minor injuries; they were all transported to the hospital. The seriously injured firefighter was reported to be in stable condition.
Over 100 firefighters responded to the fire, reported DNA Info. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
