There are few things firefighters do that put the public at risk, but responding to calls is one of them

Engine 32 firefighters were responding to a cliff rescue when the engine overturned onto its side, the fire department said.

Three firefighters were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, LA County Fire said.

A SigAlert was in effect for several hours as a heavy-duty tow truck worked to remove the engine from the area, Larsen said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
