Ohio firefighters battle massive paper warehouse blaze, 1 hurt

Poor water supply meant shuttling water 7 miles to the scene

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Liberty Township Fire Chief expected a fire at a warehouse to burn until Thursday morning. One firefighter suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to Adena Medical Center. He is expected to be okay.

According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, the fire was reported shortly before 3 p.m. at the Schooley Station Industrial Park, located in the 1400 block of Lancaster Road.

Crews said that no fire hydrants were in the area, so takers were filling up at a local high school. Fire officials on scene said that they could not use water from a nearby water tower because it was undergoing tests.
