ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida firefighter can be seen giving the middle finger to a motorist during a road rage incident in video recently made public.
The May 1 footage shows the driver almost forcing a smaller car off the road while passing the vehicle, taking the fire truck up the median.
The car had neglected to pull over and was driving ahead of the fire truck despite emergency lights and sirens being on.
Orange County Fire Rescue terminated the firefighter who was driving the apparatus, and demoted Lt. Thomas Veal to the rank of Firefighter, for failing to properly supervise the driver.
