DONA ANA COUNTY, Texas — A Doña Ana County man is suspected of destroying his mobile home Sunday afternoon when he started a fire while cleaning his marijuana bong, Doña Ana County sheriff officials said.
Andrew J. Garcia, 30, faces charges of arson and aggravated fleeing.
Officials said Garcia, apparently distraught over personal problems, was cleaning his bong with rubbing alcohol when he purposely tipped over the smoking device and set fire to the alcohol.
He then set fire to curtains at his home in the community of San Ysidro.
Garcia allegedly drove away from a deputy as the home burned, but Garcia was later arrested.
