GREENWICH, N.Y. — Police say a volunteer firefighter has been arrested for allegedly intentionally setting fires in the Washington County area.
Police say 20-year-old Carl Rehm of Pike Brook Road in Clemons was arrested after witnesses saw him at the scene of a brush fire in the Town of Dresden, in Washington County.
Officials say Rehm is the Assistant Chief of the Dresden Fire Department and he’s admitted to starting the fire as well as several other brush fires in the area over the last several weeks.
