KNOX COUNTY, Ill. — A Williamsfield volunteer firefighter is accused of setting hay bales,grass fields and trash bins on fire in Knox County, Illinois.
Blake T. Walsh, 24, of Williamsfield, Illinois, was arrested Wednesday, April 16, 2014, in connection with a “series of arsons involving hay bales and grass fields which primarily occurred in the Williamsfield area,” according to a statement from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Galesburg police and fire departments were also investigating two dumpster fires which they determined had been intentionally set, the statement said.
