LOS ANGELES — An upcoming film highlighting the story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots will premiere later this year.
GQ reported that “Only the Brave,” starring Taylor Kitsch, Miles Teller, Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges and Jennifer Connelly, focuses on the Granite Mountain Hotshots who heroically battled the Yarnell Hill wildfire that blazed through Arizona in 2013.
“It’s a special one, man,” Kitsch said. “It’s a really important story. We want to honor the legacy they built. And it couldn’t be more relevant. There are 180 separate wildfires going on right now. And every year — because of global warming and a lot of other factors — it’s happening more and more.”
