FORT WORTH, Texas — In an effort to help a sick 8-year-old girl find a bone marrow match, firefighters and police officers helped “Shake it Off” in a dance video.

Hallie Barnard suffers from a rare blood disorder, Diamond-Blackfan anemia, and is in search of a bone marrow donor. Her foundation, Hallie’s Heroes, works to not only find a match for her, but for other people in need of a match.

In a parody of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off,” firefighters and police officers encouraged responders and the public to get a cheek swab to build a national registry of potential bone marrow matches.
