GALVESTON, Texas — Six firefighters escaped serious injury Sunday after they fell through the second floor of an apartment complex during a fire.
Four firefighters and one captain fell; another fire captain held onto a door frame, reported Click2Houston.
All six were rescued by other firefighters on scene. They were transported to the hospital and later released. One firefighter suffered minor burns to his hand, and another reported soreness in his leg and shoulder.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, but it may have started on the bottom level of the building.
