DELHI, India — The bodies of two firefighters were recovered Sunday after they died while battling a Sept. 28 blaze.
Firefighters Sunil Kumar, 40, and Fire Operator Manjeet Dagar, 35, were discovered in the back side of the first floor of a three-story plastic factory, reported Firefighter Close Calls. During the fire, a boiler exploded and trapped the two firefighters and two others inside the building.
Kumar and Dagar’s bodies were pulled out from the debris of the building after its collapse.
A factory worker was also killed.
Officials are still searching for the second factory worker who was trapped in the building.
