CLINTON COUNTY, Pa. — A mother and her six children were killed in a house fire in Lamar Township.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 700 block of Long Run Road in Mill Hall around 8:30 a.m. on April 19. State police said firefighters were called to the scene for a reported explosion and structure fire with people trapped inside, WTAJ reported.

When firefighters arrived, they confirmed seven people were trapped inside, but the home was already fully engulfed in flames and could not be searched. All seven victims died in the fire.
FOX 56 reported the victims were identified as 34-year-old Sarah Stolzfus and her six children: four sons, ages 11, 10, 5 and 3, and two daughters, ages 8 and 6.
Officials said a possible propane leak inside the home may have caused the explosion. Firefighters noted that the exterior propane tank did not explode and did not contribute to the blast.
