NEW YORK — A historic Queens church erupted into a fifth-alarm blaze Thursday, cops and firefighters said.

The fire swept through the First Reformed Church of Astoria, located on 12th St. near Astoria Blvd. in Astoria around 6:47 p.m., according to law enforcement officials.

The blaze first erupted in a building attached to the house of worship before spreading to the church, a law enforcement source told the Daily News.

Roughly 270 firefighters and medics were dispatched to battle the fifth-alarm blaze, according to FDNY officials.

Five firefighters were taken to a local hospital for treatment, but an FDNY spokesperson could not provide their conditions.
