HOUSTON — One Houston firefighter was sent to the hospital and two more were injured while trying to fight a massive fire in a Meyerland home Friday.
Capt. Stephen Kramer, from Fire Station 48, suffered heat exhaustion. His crew was the first one on the scene.
“He was having chest pains, they checked him out before they left the scene, he was stable but they transported him, just precautionary measures,” Deputy Chief Herman Gonzales said.
