GRASONVILLE, Md. — Firefighters saved a woman in an overnight house fire Sunday.
WMDT reported that the Grasonville (Md.) Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire with a reported entrapment around 12:43 a.m. When crews arrived on scene, they found flames near the back of the two-story home with a woman by a bedroom window on the second floor. She was removed from the home without life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but was likely related to an electrical malfunction.
The fire department was assisted by three neighboring departments.
