DAYTON, Ohio — A 25-year-old man threatened to fight firefighters and get a gun while they tried to extinguish his burning pickup truck.
WHIO.com reported that Joseph Mosley was interfering with firefighters and became combative when a fire lieutenant tried to move him away from the fire. Mosley shoved another firefighter who was also trying to move him away.
“At this time, Mosley’s aggressive behavior escalated to the point that he effectively stopped all firefighting efforts,” a police report stated. “He began challenging all of the firemen to fight him. Mosley’s violent behavior continued to progress. He told the firefighters that he was going into his house to get a gun.”
Mosely was arrested on suspicion of assault, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct at an emergency call.
