CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — A mayday was sent after a firefighter went missing during a four-alarm fire Tuesday morning.
WCVB reported that crews responded to the multi-family home at 8 a.m.; heavy smoke and flames were billowing from the house.
The firefighter who made a mayday call was quickly located and found safe.
All companies were withdrawn from the building for an exterior attack, according to a Cambridge Fire Department tweet.
