NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. — A firefighter is in the hospital after being injured in a large structure fire Tuesday morning.
News10 reported that the unnamed firefighter was hurt in a fire that required crews to drag around 750 feet of hose into the woods because their trucks could not make it in.
The fire was called in by a neighbor who said it was so large that it could be seen through the woods.

Firefighters were also forced to navigate over a high creek to get to the blaze, and used ATVs to travel back and forth to the creek to get water to put out the fire.
