NEW BRUNSWICK, Canada — One person was killed and two others injured in an early morning fire at a Dieppe triplex on Wednesday. A family of seven has also been temporarily displaced.

Ambulance New Brunswick says the victim was one of its paramedics. Mike Harborne was off-duty when the fire broke out at 582 Charline Ave. at about 2:30 a.m. The Canadian Red Cross said Harborne was in his 30s. But several people have emailed CBC to say he was in his 20s.

“We lost a great paramedic,” Ambulance New Brunswick posted on Twitter.
