WILTON, Conn. — Two firefighters were injured Sunday afternoon while battling a massive fire that tore through the Wilton Crest condominium complex off Wolfpit Road.
Wilton Fire Chief Paul Milositz said 15 units in the complex were destroyed or heavily damaged in the blaze, which left at least a dozen families homeless.
One firefighter was transported to Norwalk Hospital after suffering minor injuries from falling debris; another was treated at the scene for heat exhaustion, Milositz said.
