BUFFALO, N.Y. — It’s been more than a decade since Buffalo’s bravest have had a contract with the city, but that all changed with Thursday night’s vote.
The rank-and-file members of the Buffalo Firefighters Union overwhelmingly ratified a tentative contract that union leaders struck with the city last week.
Local 282 President Dan Cunningham said, “The men and women of the Buffalo Professional Firefighters Association voted in favor of a tentative collective bargaining agreement reached last week by Local 282’s negotiating committee and the City of Buffalo.”
