The man is being charged with felony assault with a device similar to a handgun; no one was injured

WARWICK, R.I. — A man was arrested Wednesday night after pointing a pellet gun at a firefighter.

Turnto10 reported that the Cranston Fire Department ambulance was stopped at a traffic light when another car pulled up beside it.

That’s when police said a 23-year-old man allegedly yelled something at the firefighter and pulled out the pellet gun.

He is being charged with felony assault with a device similar to a handgun. Two other people were also in the vehicle, but are not facing charges, according to the report.

No one was injured.
