Firefighters rescue man pinned in car after crash
The man in the SUV was transported to a hospital and is in serious but stable condition
HOUSTON — A man who was pinned inside his vehicle was rescued by firefighters Friday night.
KHOU reported that a man in a catering truck was traveling northbound around 10:50 p.m. when he slammed into the side of an SUV traveling eastbound. Police say the man in the SUV was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by fire officials. He was transported to a hospital and is in serious but stable condition.
The driver of the catering truck was not injured. Deputies say they are working the case and are trying to figure out who ran the red light.
