4 DC firefighters injured in fire truck crash

Three firefighters suffered non-life threatening injuries and the fourth went to a clinic for minor injuries

WASHINGTON — Four firefighters were injured Wednesday after a fire truck and another vehicle collided.

WUSA9 reported that the fire truck was returning from an earlier call when it was struck by the other vehicle. It is unclear if the fire truck was stopped or moving, according to the report.

A civilian was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to fire officials. Three firefighters suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to local hospitals, according to the report. The fourth firefighter went to the fire and police clinic for treatment of minor injuries.
