The fire truck was left unlocked and unattended during routine fire training

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man claimed he stole a fire truck on a Facebook Live video Monday.

In the video, two people climb into an unoccupied fire truck, FOX13Memphis.com reported. They give a “tour” of the rig while sitting in the front seats.

“It’s for sale, who wants it?” one man asks. He then says, “They shouldn’t have left it running.”

Two other videos were published; one claims to show a man driving the truck and the other shows the alleged thieves outside the truck.

Lt. Wayne Cook, with the Memphis Fire Department, said the fire truck was in the area because crews were training. He said the truck never moved and that it was never stolen, according to the report.

Lt. Cook said it’s unclear if the people in the video will face any charges. The incident is under investigation.
