Mo. firefighter seriously hurt in apparatus crash

LENOX, Mo. — A firefighter had to be airlifted to a hospital Monday night after being ejected from a brush truck with a blown tire.

The Rolla Daily News reported that firefighter Kyle A. Good, 26, was driving the Lenox Rural Fire Department brush truck when the front left tire blew out.

The truck struck an embankment and overturned, ejecting firefighter Good, according to the report.

Firefighter Good was flown by an air ambulance to a hospital. He was not wearing a seatbelt, police reports stated.

The brush truck was totaled and it is not clear if the truck was responding to an incident at the time of the crash, according to the report.
