HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Two people were injured when a fire truck and a pickup truck collided head-on Monday morning.
ABC22Now reported that there were four people inside the fire truck as it was making a left turn. The fire truck’s driver reportedly turned in front of the pickup truck, hitting it head-on, according to the report.
“She said she was coming down the road and the truck turned in front of her. There were no sirens and no lights,” Bernie Thies, the father of the female pickup driver who was taken to the hospital, said.
A female firefighter in the officer’s seat was also taken to the hospital, according to the report. Both the driver of the pickup truck and the firefighter’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
