Webbing is a very useful piece of equipment that each firefighter can carry. The key to carrying personal webbing is having quick access to it. There are a few tricks for this such as having it in a medical glove, in a jacket sleeve or knee pad.
Whatever option you choose, make sure it is easily accessible. When the time comes to retrieve your webbing, the last thing you want is for it to be unretrievable. The only way to know that your webbing location works is to try it. Trial and error will prove what works.
