Municipal Emergency Services, TECGEN unveil dual-certified PPE

The gear is ideal for wildland, extrication, MVAs, traffic control and incident command


TECGEN teamed up with Municipal Emergency Services (MES) to unveil its newest dual-certified PPE at Fire Rescue International (FRI) 2014 in Dallas, Texas.

The new TECGEN Rescue80 from the two companies is certified for NFPA 1951 Technical Rescue and NFPA 1977 Wildland.

TECGEN Rescue80 garments promote visibility and functionality by using reflective trim and multiple pockets designed to carry everything from smart phones to radios and extrication tools. The gear is lightweight, breathable and built for wildland, extrication, MVAs, traffic control and incident command, the company said. It is available in black or tan.
