OSSEO, Wis. — A local community pull through to help a volunteer organization that saves lives.
Osseo Rural Fire and EMS department was under a threat of not having enough members to cover their area just a few months ago. But after turning to social media and the word of mouth, the department now has gotten all the recruits needed to serve the community even better than before.
“We believe we turned the corner through the great response of our community,” said Osseo EMS Chief Kirk Gunderson. Things are looking up for the Osseo fire and EMS. In May, the group was many volunteers short. Now, the ems department is training their last ten volunteers needed.
