Four members of the Bradley-Prosperity Volunteer Fire Dept. in Raleigh County are being treated for injuries suffered when their fire truck wrecked on the way to an accident on the West Virginia Turnpike at around noon Tuesday.
The firefighters were responding to an area close to the North Beckley exit when the driver lost control of the pick-up-sized truck and ended up in the median.
State Police Clp. Chris Payne says it looks like the driver hydroplaned. “It went into a sideways slide and then began to rollover,” Clp. Payne said.
