AURORA, Colo. — An SUV and a fire truck crashed near a fire station in Aurora and both drivers were taken to the hospital.
The two-vehicle crash happened near Aurora Fire Station 3, 3172 Peoria St., Aurora Fire Rescue said in an 8:53 a.m. Saturday tweet.
A third person was treated by medical personnel at the scene and released.
Northbound lanes of Peoria are closed as police investigate the crash. Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area and use alternate routes if possible.
Both driver's of the vehicles were transported to local emergency rooms. A 3rd patient was treated and released on the scene. The incident is currently under investigation by APD. Delays are expected in that area of North Peoria St. pic.twitter.com/0nScEflJWS
