Off-duty firefighters help injured victims in Las Vegas shooting
Several members of San Bernardino County Fire who attended the music festival helped evacuate the injured immediately after the shooting

LAS VEGAS — Officials said several off-duty firefighters from California aided victims immediately after the deadly shooting at a music festival.
Daily News reported that several members of San Bernardino County Fire who were attending the music festival jumped into action and helped victims evacuate the area.
Deputy Chief John Chamberlin shared on Facebook the department’s pride in the firefighters.
“We couldn’t be more proud of their efforts!” Chamberlin said in the post, adding that an employee of the department’s family member had been “struck multiple times.”
