MINNEAPOLIS — Three firefighters were injured while battling a five-alarm apartment complex blaze early Friday morning.
The firefighters were transported to the hospital and later released for non life-threatening injuries.
Thirteen fire departments and over 100 firefighters responded to the fire that displaced 12 residents, reported CBS Local.
Robbinsdale Fire Marshal Greg Bodin the warm and muggy weather made the fire challenging to fight.
A preliminary investigation of the fire indicated there was improper disposal of smoking materials.
