ORLANDO — In one of his final acts as president of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Fire Chief Josh Waldo honored seven individuals for their outstanding service and commitment to the fire and EMS community.
The President’s Recognition Awards were presented on Friday, Aug. 15, during the final general session at the IAFC’s flagship conference, Fire-Rescue International.
Award recipients include:

- Norris Croom, Fire Chief, Castle Rock, Colorado
- Eriks Gabliks, Superintendent, USFA National Fire Academy
- Cathie Patterson, FEMA Division Director, Fire, Emergency Management, Regional Grant Programs
- Craig Weinschenk, Research Engineer, UL’s FSRI
- Raymond Reynolds, Fire Chief, Nevada, Iowa
- Jeff Dulin, Deputy Chief (ret.), Charlotte, N.C.
