Calling all fire photographers: FireRescue1 wants to see your pictures! The next time you come across something inspiring, take out the camera and submit it to FireRescue1! Just remember to include your name, agency information and brief background information on the picture.

This week’s Photo of the Week comes from the Savannah (Ga.) Fire Department, which hung its fire safety wreath outside its headquarters on Monday.

The holidays are just around the corner, and while the holiday season is known as “the most wonderful time of the year,” it’s also one of the most dangerous times of the year, with cooking accidents, electrical hazards, candle fires and Christmas tree fires being common threats.

The Savannah Fire Department wrote that it put up the wreath as a fire safety reminder to the community, and will add a red light to the wreath for every structure fire it responds to during the holiday season.
