LODD: N.H. lieutenant suffers a stroke after flooding incident

PEMBROKE, N.H. — The U.S. Fire Administration (USFA) announced the on-duty death of Lieutenant Terrence “Terry” M. Judge of the Pembroke Fire Department on March 24. 

On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Lieutenant Terrence “Terry” M. Judge responded to a flooding incident inside a multi-family residence. While at the scene, he operated a pump suction hose in the basement of the structure.

He returned from the incident and was found the following morning collapsed in his home from a cerebrovascular accident (CVA). He was immediately transported to the hospital where he passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.
