LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Members of fire departments in many states have been issuing warnings to the public before storms and cleaning up debris afterward as storms caused damage, but one station was directly hit by a tornado recently.

The firefighters of Little Rock Fire Department Station 9 continued serving the public through it all but have had to move their base to a different location, the Democrat-Gazette reported. The service members were not seriously injured, just in shock.

One of the bay doors flew off, and a beam from a nearby church crashed into the station.
