Photo of the Week: DC's Bravest at Inauguration

Calling all fire photographers: FireRescue1 wants to see your pictures! The next time you come across something inspiring, take out the camera and submit it to FireRescue1! Just remember to include your name, agency information and brief background information on the picture.

This week's Photo of the Week shows a D.C. Fire and EMS apparatus outside the U.S. Capitol on Inauguration Day, as D.C.'s Bravest helped keep the city safe throughout the day's events.

Preparations for the day included the deployment of fireboats to protect waterways, bike teams ready to respond quickly to any medical emergencies, an Inaugural Command team working behind the scenes to monitor Capitol grounds and cooperation between dozens of public safety entities working together to protect attendees and residents.
