PITTSBURGH — Two firefighters’ vehicles parked in front a fire station were among several others shot at Wednesday night.

WPXI reported that bullet holes were found in the door of one vehicle and the hood and grill of another. Police received multiple calls about gunshots at 9 p.m.; no one was injured by the gunfire.

“It’s disturbing that in this day and age people resolve problems with guns and violence and don’t care about who or what gets in the way of it,” Ralph Sicuro, president of the firefighters’ union, said.

A year ago, bullets hit a fire truck and the entrance to an office in the station’s building. Mayor Bill Peduto said the city is working on getting ballistic windows installed at the firehouse.

An investigation is ongoing.
