Rocco Alvaro is an executive public safety leader with more than 40 years of experience in metropolitan fire, emergency medical services, and emergency management. He currently serves as an Operations Deputy Chief for Fairfax County (Virginia) Fire and Rescue Department, providing executive oversight of complex public safety operations, strategic initiatives, organizational performance, and community risk reduction within one of the nation’s largest combination Fire & Rescue systems.
