LOS ANGELES — USA-01 and USA-2 urban search and rescue team members have returned home after looking for earthquake survivors for 11 days in Turkey.
While the teams were abroad, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken offered them his gratitude.
Upon their return home, the crews received warm welcomes from loved ones.
The U.S. Agency for International Development disaster assistance response team is staying in place to help the peoples of Turkey and Syria, according to the organization.
