Volunteer firefighter’s stolen laptop returned

The fire department said their Facebook post put pressure on the individuals involved to do the right thing

WAHOO, Neb. — A stolen laptop was anonymously returned Tuesday to the volunteer firefighter it was taken from.

KMTV reported that the firefighter went out to a fire call last week only to come back and find someone had stolen a bag containing the laptop from his personal vehicle.

Wahoo Fire and Rescue took to Facebook to report that the bag and its contents were returned to the firefighter’s doorstep Tuesday morning.

“Undoubtedly this exposure put pressure on the individuals involved to do the right thing and return the equipment,” the Facebook post said.
