ORLANDO, Fla — “This was probably one of the worst crashes I’ve ever seen,” a WFTV reporter Tweeted from the scene of an early-morning crash that involved an Orlando Fire Department Rescue Unit and a car.
This is probably one of the worst crashes I’ve seen. This is at Edgewater Dr. and Smith St. in College Park. It involves an Orlando Fire Department ambulance and a car. Police say 3 people were in the car, 1 died and 2 were taken to the hospital in critical condition. pic.twitter.com/69cbQcTumz

Of the car’s three occupants, one died and two others were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
WFTV reported that the firefighters involved were taken to the hospital, too, for evaluation, but did not sustain serious injuries.
According to police, the fire rescue vehicle crashed into a building, and an electrical pole at the scene was damaged.
This is the ambulance being towed away. You can see a big dent on the driver’s side. pic.twitter.com/KdDnIaS5kE
