TAUNTON, Mass. — A cement truck rolled into a hole at Taunton construction site Tuesday, according to the Taunton Fire Department.
At about 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Taunton firefighters responded to the area of 39 Jefferson St. for a report of a crash involving a cement truck. The cement truck had rolled over into a hole at the construction site, photos shared by the fire department showed.
The hole was a foundation hole, according to WCVB.
The driver was taken to the hospital. Officials have not provided further updates about the driver.
Jefferson Street was closed for several hours after the crash. It has since reopened, officials said. The crash remains under investigation.
