Video: Helmet cam captures rescue of dogs from fire
Two firefighters rescued the therapy dogs trapped in the house; one dog could not be rescued and died in the fire

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Fairfax County Firefighter Ben Sisson wears a helmet camera so that he can review footage of his calls and improve his skills.
But Sunday, Sisson's camera caught something even more important: Sisson and his partner rescuing two therapy dogs trapped inside a burning house in Springfield.
"This time it was a dog, maybe next time it's gonna be a person," Sisson said. "You just don't know." His helmet camera footage shows the dangerous scene. Yellow flames leap from an upstairs room and thick smoke chokes the stairway.
